'PaperHarborGarden started with a vision: to share true Neapolitan pizza with Rome. The Romano family, who originated our pizzeria in 1985, managed it intimately, relying on recipes passed from one generation to the next.
The craft of pizza creation was mastered by Marco Romano on her journey across Italy, absorbing knowledge from esteemed pizzaiolos in Naples—the birthplace of pizza. Once back in the UK, her goal was to replicate the essence of classic Italian pizza, sticking to age-old techniques and top-tier ingredients.
What once was a humble pizzeria through dedication has expanded into a cherished local feature, yet our dedication to authenticity and excellence stays downright steadfast. We persist in employing classic wood-fired ovens, preparing our dough from scratch each day, and selecting only the best ingredients available.
Till this day, 'PaperHarborGarden' is under family management with the Romano successors driving our zealous crew. While we have adopted new advancements, the core of our mission stands unchanged: to produce delightful, genuine pizzas that unify people.
